Davina Bell is a children's book editor and a writer for young people of many ages. Her picture books include All the Ways To Be Smart, All of the Factors of Why I Love Tractors, Under the Love Umbrella, What to Say When You Don't Know What to Say and What to Do When You're Not Sure What to Do. Her debut young adult novel, The End of the World is Bigger than Love, won the 2021 CBCA Book of the Year for Older Readers and the NSW Premier's Literary Awards' Ethel Turner Prize for Young Adult Fiction. What to Say When You Don't Know What to Say was the winner of the ABIA Children's Picture Book of the Year Award 2023 and a CBCA Notable Picture Book of the Year 2023.

Tete Garcia is a Spanish illustrator who has found her creative home on Sydney's northern beaches. Her vibrant, joyful illustrations are inspired by everyday life, often featuring familiar characters and scenes. Focused on creating meaningful, story-driven art, she finds inspiration in the world around her and when not immersed in her creative pursuits, you might find her crocheting or enjoying the outdoors with her dog, Toastie.
