Muriel Bolger is a well-known freelance journalist and editor. Award winning travel writer and Irish Travel Writer of the Year, she has written three guidebooks on her native city. Darting About, Statues and Stories and Dublin's Magical Museums. (Ashfield Press). She's also written a light-hearted look at Dublin writers from Swift to present day, which she wrote to tie in with UNESCO awarding Dublin a City of Literature status. Dublin - City of Literature (O'Brien Press) was published in 2011.
Consequences, her first novel was written at airports, in the sky and on faraway beaches and mountaintops. Its inspiration was a white cat with patches of ginger who tried to steal her lounger in Cyprus and who only features once in the story.Intentions is her second novel.Other books by the author
