The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) is the UK's largest gardening charity, dedicated to advancing horticulture and promoting good gardening. Its charitable work includes providing expert advice and information, training the next generation of gardeners and promoting the ecological, aesthetic and psychological benefits of gardening in an urban environment. The RHS has 411,000 members.

James Wong is a London-based botanist, television presenter and garden designer. At the age of 27, James became presenter of his own television series, Grow Your Own Drugs. The award-winning BBC Two series demonstrated natural remedies sourced from plants and soon became the highest rated series on UK television, running to two series. James's first two books that tied in with each series of the show became international best-sellers with his third, Homegrown Revolution, becoming the fastest-selling gardening book in UK history.

James is a regular reporter on the hit BBC One series Countryfile and a regular panelist on BBC Gardeners' Question Time. He recently made an 8-part series called Expensive Eats that was shown by CAN in 14 countries.

In his capacity as a garden designer, James has become a four-time Royal Horticultural Society medal winner for the gardens he co-designed through his design studio, Amphibian Designs. James grows a dazzling range of edible produce through the year in a tiny urban front garden in south-east London.
