In 2002, Deborah Rodriguez helped found the Kabul Beauty School, the first modern beauty school and training salon in Afghanistan. She is now director of the school and owner of the Oasis Salon and the Kabul Coffee House, all located in Kabul. Her second book, THE LITTLE COFFEE SHOP OF KABUL, was published in 2011.
