A former graphic artist and technical writer, Carla pursued a career in marketing before deciding to stay home and raise a family. While the babies napped, Carla wrote. She is a fitness enthusiast and loves spending time in art museums. She adores the work of John Singer Sargent, whose portraits she admires for their sheer luminosity.
