The new writer of Words of Life is Major Beverly Ivany. She received her A.R.C.T. (Piano Performance) and Bachelor degrees in Arts (English) and Music before becoming a Salvation Army officer. Along with her husband David, she has served various appointments in Canada, their homeland. They have four children. Beverly has written three books: Kid Talk, Teen Talk and Mentorship. She recently received a Masters degree in Theological Studies.
